Scott Detweiler Memberships and Degrees:
Nearly a year ago, I had my first NFT or non-fungible-token sale and had been spreading the word to others in the photography industry. Since then, I have sold thousands of dollars of art in the form of animated GIFs and JPGs and want to share this entire process with you. Yes, it might seem a bit insane, but I assure you the money is there, and you can make yourself part of this modern movement.
First, we will take a bit of a deep dive into the world of NFTs and learn how the blockchain works since it is critical to understanding how the market functions. Then we will explore all of the different types of art and how they might fit into your product line-up. Finally, we will talk about marketing, collecting, and how to launch a thriving secondary market for your artwork. This will be an eye-opening session! This growing market is exploding and has plenty of opportunities for us in the visual market.
Most of the work I do now is commercial photography, retouching, boudoir, fine-art, and 3D modeling photography. I also do corporate headshots, catalog, and magazine work. However, I love the occasional commission for something much more artistic.
Teaching others is something I enjoy doing via workshops, speaking engagements, or traveling to shoots as often as possible. I also do themed shoots, seminars on lighting, posing, and post-production seminars that are open to the public at my studio near Milwaukee, WI. I love passing on my knowledge to those now facing similar frustrations with the technical aspects of this fantastic artistic outlet.

The Bay Professional Photographers Association (BPPA) provides an opportunity for photographers to come together to exchange ideas and information and encourage each other to become better at their craft. The association allows photographers to improve their skills by presenting photographic programs and holding print competitions. The association also provides the benefit of networking with other photographers for business and social interaction.
To advance photography in all its branches, both as an art and as a profession; to create, foster, promote and maintain cordial relations, cooperation and the interchange of thoughts and opinions freely among its members.
